Linkbee or Adf.ly?

You might be wondering which link program is the best. Well, I use them both. So far, I have earned more with Linkbee than I have with Adf.ly. I think I remember joining Linkbee first, and then I tried Adf.ly. If I’m not mistaken, Adf.ly’s payout rate is higher than Linkbee’s payout rate. However, you can use them both to make cash.

To me, it’s just like getting paid by writing programs. Writing programs pay you for your page views. Linkbee and Adf.ly work the same way. The more clicks you get on your links, the more you get paid. The more clicks you get on your articles in writing programs, the more you get paid. If you would like to write articles and get paid for them on your blogs, Linkbee and Adf.ly are great link programs to try.

Not Getting Many Visitors at Twitter

Twitter is a place that you may think that you would get plenty of visitors. To tell you the truth, the whole time I used Twitter for my Adf.ly links there were little visitors or none at all. Maybe I'm not writing what people really want to read or it could be that people have had enough of reading about particular things.  We have personal opinion bloggers and then we have our news sites that tell the facts. There could be a number of reasons that there are not many visitors coming to your links at Twitter.

The key thing is great content. I notice there are many hits when readers want to learn about an update of a new movie or maybe a new crazy commercial is posted. You might even get a number of clicks from a photo you took. Simple things can help you too. Sometimes it's hard to please readers. They may be bored reading and you may be bored writing. Writing and adding links to your content about things that readers want to find out might get you some clicks. If you can capture the readers attention as a blogger with your content, you can earn with Adf.ly. That's when things can start happening at Twitter.

Adding Your Links as Text

If you had to write on a site that did not use text advertising like Kontera, you could use your Adf.ly links as text adverting in your writing. There is no guarantee that someone will click on them, but it is worth a try. I think Adf.ly is a great program, and it can be used to make cash if you can think of some ways to make cash with it. It may work and it may not work for you. You just have to use strategy, keep on writing, and work with your links.

When Kontera advertising is added to your writing in text, you hope and wait for someone to click on the links for cash. Really, Adf.ly is no different. There is money behind the clicks. I use Kontera on several blogs and have not reached a couple of dollars yet. To me, it's just something to waste time with, and on the other hand, it is important to have those links. That is how you are paid through writing if you can ever make it to that point.

If Adfly Had a Community

If Adf.ly had a community, we could share our links with everyone within that community. I think the hardest thing is to sign up with Adf.ly website and then have to do everything outside of their website. People need to come to their website and share because everybody outside is not interested. It's easier just to communicate and share with people that love Adf.ly.

When it comes to sharing, it's good to have the freedom of sharing outside of the community too. To me, inside is where you can get your practice. It helps you to know what links are best to share. When you decide to share outside of the community, you can share your most popular posts.

The good thing about Adf.ly is you can always delete what you feel is not useful. A list of things could get very long, but that does not matter as long as you receive clicks. However, things change from time to time. If you delete a page to your blog and it is used as a link, that link is not useful anymore.

Adf.ly needs a community. Adf.ly members understand each other and should not be aggravated by ads. When you sign up at Adf.ly, you know what you are going to get. You are going to see some advertisement. In the community, people know what you are about and should be willing to share with you.

Art for Your Links

Have you ever thought about making your own banners or artwork for your links? When you think of Adf.ly, what do you think of? You may think of something that flies. Adf.ly has a logo of a bee. You may have simply thought of a fly or a bird. When I look at Adf.ly logo, I think of my own character bee. It's just my imagination, and I thought I should pass the idea along to others.

Advertising Links

Adf.ly is a great link program to join, but you have to make it work. So far, I have made $0.06. That's not much, but it shows that it can work. I have five visitors and all of them are from Twitter. I do not get many hits on Twitter at Adf.ly.

There are two options that you can choose. You can choose banner or interstitial.  I think it is because of the interstitial that I do not receive that many hits. It shows an advertisement before it gets to your article or whatever it is you have to show.

When it comes to a photo, I choose the banner. The banner takes you right to your photo or article with an advertisement just overhead of your work.

Do not expect people to just click on a link. Working with Adf.ly links is like advertising. You have to think beyond Facebook and Twitter. You have to think about your websites and blogs too. On your websites and blogs, you can tell a little bit about what your link is about to make the viewers be interested. When you look at advertising, advertisers use pictures and words to get your attention and show off what you might be interested in. It does not hurt to do extra with your links. When you read newspaper sites, they advertise articles on the front page. So when you go to Facebook and Twitter, it might not be a bad idea to advertise your links by writing a few words on what the link is about.
